    create .log file for routing

    Hi,

is there a good tool for creating a .log file like this one in FrameworkIOSDemo->Resources->Seattle.log?
I need it for testing/debugging purposes.

    Thank you,
    Ivaylo

    Hi,

What exactly are you looking to log?

    Hi Adela,

in the folder FrameworkIOSDemo->Resources is a file Seattle.log. From the description of the iOS SDK I noticed that with this log file you can simulate a running/walking/driving user. In the Options you can set the constant "static NSString* const kLogFileName = @"Seattle";"
I would like to create a custom walking route for my example. How can I create such file like Seattle.log?

    Thank you,
    Ivaylo

    Hi Ivaylo,

    Direct from our developers:
"We have the SKPositionsLoggingService API that can provide this functionality.
You can use startLoggingPositionsToFileAtPath:withLoggingType: method to save locations to a file. This method can be used to save the locations either in .log format or gpx format.
The .log file format is csv with the following columns: lat, lon, heading, speed, horizontalAccuracy, altitude, verticalAccuracy, timestampMicrosec, dateAsString"

Please let us know if you need any help.

    Adela
