I see that on iOS skobler lite is being withdrawn and that in the future it will be a paid for application - Is the same going to happen for Android soon? This would be a great loss as I had always assumed skobler to be an open source community developed product but I see now that is only the mapping. I guess if it happens I will have to give up my skobler in favour of google navigation - its quite good (apart from once telling me to "turn right off the M4" and "you have entered a dead end street perform a U turn" as I was driving along the only road out of a small village recently! - however I have a self imposed rule of only ever installing advertising funded or open source software that is free to private consumers (which is what I feel all software and apps should be for non-profit use)
