View Full Version : [Android] SIGSEGV error in calculateRouteWithPoints()

Dear Skobbler support team,

I have encountered a SIGSEGV error, while testing the example implementation of route computation using a list of points on http://developer.skobbler.de/getting-started/android.
Im using the android SDK in version 2.5.1.

To be precise, I have implemented:

//list of points
List pointsList = new ArrayList();
pointsList.add(new SKPosition(23.609239, 46.767936));
pointsList.add(new SKPosition(23.609149, 46.769281));
pointsList.add(new SKPosition(23.605704, 46.768879));

// set the route listener
SKRouteManager.getInstance().setRouteListener(this );
SKRouteSettings routeSettings = new SKRouteSettings();

//set route mode
routeSettings.setRouteMode(SKRouteMode.CAR_FASTEST );
SKRouteManager.getInstance().calculateRouteWithPoi nts(pointsList, routeSettings);

Then I got the following error message:
A/libc﹕ Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV)

Is there something wrong with my implementation? How can I fix this issue?

With the initial release of 2.5.1 SDK we've discovered that using a large number of points the SIGSEGV error occurs.
The following resources can be used to fix the issue:

In case there are some other issues please let us know.

I was having the same issue and have downloaded the new resources you provided. The resources have fixed the SIGSEGV error however, "OnRouteCalculationFailed" is always called and the SKRouteListenerSKRoutingErrorCode is INTERNAL_ERROR. I am unable to find any thing about what could be causing this error, are there any resources I could look at to detail what I could be doing wrong or what could be going wrong? My code is the exact same as above. Thanks in advance!

Have you checked in the demo project? http://developer.skobbler.com/support#download

I am also getting same error but it is happening only in offline mode, when I try to zoom in and zoom out couple of times. It is happening on demo project as well but only in offline mode. I am using 3.0.1 version build
