Hi there,

I'm new to skobbler maps. I'm using the web API only. I have a couple of questions:

API Key:

The API key will be visible in the JavaScript source of my application, so it's potentially open to abuse/hijacking. Is it possible to restrict the API KEY usage to a particular domain or IP address?

Analytics and limits:

On your plans page, the free usage for web API is "1 Million sessions", with "1 map session is equivalent 15 tiles, 1 static map or 1 RealReach API call"

In the analytics page of my account, I can see only the number of tile server requests. To gauge my usage, is it reasonable then to divide the my current number of requests by 15 to get my number of sessions (assuming I'm only using web tiles)?

Thanks!

Hello,
Indeed, we don't have any IP/domain level restrictions. We had this mechanism in place with the old infrastructure but had to drop it in migrating to the new architecture and did not have the time to reimplement it. You may use HTTPs as an additional security layer.

As for analytics: yes, dividing by 15 would do the job.
