iOS: which routing algorithm is used in Skobbler

Hi,

which algorithm is used for the calculating of the routes?
I'm writing currently my documentation for my project at the university and I would like to describe the algorithm which is used.

At it's heart the routing algorithms are based on the A* algorithm (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A*_search_algorithm), with some secret sauce added to it
